Click TX Ranch

Click TX Ranch sits on the site of the old town of Click, Texas, and carries that history in its restored features and classic ranch feel. Some guests will check in at Sandstone headquarters for coordination before heading to the ranch for lodging and hunts.

Historic Roots. Room to Roam.

Click is a ghost town in Llano County, Texas, United States, on County Road 308, southeast of Llano and southwest of Kingsland. The community was named for settler Malachi Click. At its peak, the population was 20 people. Benjamin F. Lowe was appointed postmaster when Click got a post office in 1880. The post office was discontinued during World War II

Lodging

Main level: two bedrooms plus a large open living space that joins the kitchen and oversized island.
Upper level: two additional bedrooms with generous closet space.
Garage apartment: one-car garage with an upstairs room featuring a private restroom and shower, ideal for added privacy or a guide room.

Hunts & coordination

Click TX Ranch plays an active role in our Longhorn breeding program and is also home to Watusi and Bison, adding to the ranch’s unique landscape and heritage-focused operations.

Group hunts, corporate outings, and large-scale events are a natural fit at the ranch. When applicable, guests coordinate through the main ranch, with hunts at Click planned and supported by our professional team. On-site assistance is provided as needed, and species availability is managed through Sandstone’s program.
